Appendix C – School Planning Guide Web Site Checklist This checklist can assist in planning your school trip. PRIOR TO VISIT As soon as possible, complete the booking form to the best of your ability and return it to our office via email (firstname.lastname@example.org). Check confirmation. We will send you an email confirming if your selected day is available. If it’s not, we will contact you to finalize an alternative date. At least seven (7) days prior, return all forms to Tri-Town Ski & Snowboard Village including an accurate breakdown of total student numbers, teacher supervisors, lessons and rental equipment (skiers/snowboarders should know their height, weight, shoe size and ability level before they arrive). Each participant should be provided with a copy of the alpine responsibility code, which is enclosed (see Appendix B). Reckless behaviour, on and off the hill, will not be tolerated. DAY OF VISIT Upon arrival, students will gather in the chalet and those who need rental equipment will move to the rental building. Teachers will be needed to help fit all students with equipment and accurately complete rental forms. This includes all numbers on skis, boards, boots, and helmets from ALL group members (students and supervisors) after everyone has received their rental equipment. Supervisors must provide assistance at equipment return (verifying that all equipment checked off forms is returned) and during bus loading.
