School Program English Welcome


Tri Town Ski and Snowboard Village invites your school to join us this winter. We believe that healthy, active kids make better students. We are excited to introduce our new school program for students at your school to support the Health and Physical Education Curriculum. Our program allows your students to explore their abilities, be physically active, and gain personal growth through skiing and snowboarding.

School Programming Options

 Winter Activity Day– Options for students for Grade 4-12 to experience a variety of winter activities including skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing and snowshoeing.Ideal for gym classes or a full school winter activity day.

What is available?
  • Tubing:There will be two tubing lanes groomed and 70 tubes available for use. Students will get lots of exercise by walking up the hill with their tubes.  
  • Snowshoeing:A number of marked snowshoe trails through the bush. Teacher supervision will be required for students who want to explore these trails.
  • Skiing/Snowboarding:Certified instructors will offer two group lessons for students with limited or no experience. Lesson space is booked on a first come, first serve basis.

Lesson #1 – 10:00 am to 11:30 am

Lesson #2 – 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm

* Max of 10 skiers and 10 snowboarders per each lesson.

** Recommended to have one teacher available to assist instructors and a couple experienced students if possible.

Sample Winter Activity Day Schedule 
9:30 am: Students arrive and are fit with equipment as needed
10:00 am to 2:15 pm: Tubing hill and snowshoe trails open for use
10:00 am to 11:30 am: Lesson #1 (ski/snowboard)
12:00 am to 1:30 pm: Lesson #2 (ski/snowboard) 
11:00 am to 2:00 pm: Canteen open for lunch/snacks 
2:00 pm: Rental equipment returned
2:30 pm: Bus returns to school 


 What is the cost? Only $5.00 per student for the this seasons thanks to funding from the Ontario Sports and Recreation Community Grant.
